CVS Health Data Center Operations Technician in Woonsocket, Rhode Island

Job Description

The Data Center Operations Technician provides operational support for systems hardware, peripherals and software within data center and related facilities. This person will work in conjunction with the Technical support staff to implement immediate resolutions to more critical problems. They will work with Operations personnel to identify areas of possible automation and/or improvement to provide better customer service, enhance problem resolution techniques.

The responsibilities of the Data Center Operations Technician include but are not limited to:

  • Service level support

  • Administration and controls

  • Procedural documentation

  • This is a third shift position. There will be four 10 hour shifts per week and a weekend shift every other Sunday.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ months of experience in an IT data/computer operations environment

  • 6+ months of MS Office such as Word and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Must be organized and have the ability to multitask

  • Ability to diagnose basic issues and problem solving

  • Good communication skills

  • Logical, decisive thinker


High School Diploma/GED
