Job Summary/ Mission:

Manage all aspects of the delivery of CoLOS based solutions, starting with the customer order to the project sign-off and over to support.

Principal Activities / Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Project ownership, delivery and risk management

  • Project implementation

  • Record keeping and project administration

  • Future threats and opportunities

Position/Job Requirements:

  • Solely responsible for the implementation of a project to the satisfaction of the customer

  • Work with the sales team and the process analyst to ensure the project team has a clear understanding of the deliverables

  • Develop the project plan together with the software- and hardware implementers

  • Ensure all the required resources are available (FSE, developers, implementers,…)

  • Ensure all the necessary components and equipment will be available on time

  • Maintain strong customer relations and communication

  • Act as the central communication point for the project

  • Delegate areas of the project and specific tasks as appropriate

  • Guard the project scope to avoid scope creep

  • Escalate scope creep and new requirements to the sales team

  • Ascertain the project risks and put measures in place to mitigate the risks

  • Ensure proper project documentation is available (end-user, technical and support documentation)

  • Get project sign-off from the customer

Education/Training Required:

  • A university degree in IT or engineering

Work Experience Required:

  • At least 3 years as project manager and experience with the specification, design and implementation of integrated systems combining IT and real-time software with electronic, electrical and mechanical elements.

  • Preferably 2 years experience as a member of a team implementing such systems.

  • A proven track record of managing and implementing such projects at all stages, from concept through to completion in a structured environment.

  • ISO9001 experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Excellent coordination skills

  • Excellent written and spoken English is a must, additional languages are a plus

  • Project management skills: capable of leading and managing a technical team to implement multi-disciplinary engineering projects.

  • Commercial and business management skills

  • Technical skills: Capable of technically leading the implementation of multi-disciplinary engineering projects.

  • Key technical areas to manage will include: Interfacing with IT systems, Database design / configuration, Networking (TCP/IP and RS485), servers, industrial control systems, real-time systems, PLC programming and .NET programming.

  • Microsoft Office skills

  • MS Project knowledge

  • TrackIT knowledge
