Key Responsibilities and Duties include
Supports software application, including troubleshooting, deployment, and maintenance. Manages all open issues and ongoing support activity to reduce customer wait time. Ensures that all support processes are streamlined for efficiency and meets the agreed KPIs set by the business and IT team
Understand business processes and application requirements from business (new or enhancement) and translate them into IT solutions, with standard supporting documents. Analyze feasibility and impact of various enhancements requests on existing configurations and work with various departments to streamline processes and resolve issues.
Be engaged in validation, verification, testing, planning, deployment, and discussions of various systems and application with global/regional IT teams
Create and/or update structured process supporting documentations, and provide end user or intradepartmental training or updates when necessary.
Analyze and Recommend improvements to our current support processes, standards and procedures, and work with Supervisor/Lead to improve them over time.
Assist in IT software assessments to ensure architecture alignment, security and sustainability of any applications developed by business before deployed into IT environment
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of IT experience in Application Support scope (fresh graduates with right skillset and attitude may apply)
o Possess Application Development and Support background
o Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
o Have good understanding in audit processes
o Experience in software development lifecycle / methodology
o Have knowledge or understanding of databases, operating systems, basic network configuration, IT hardware, and software
• Process-oriented and analytical:
o Process-oriented – Able to follow written guidelines and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures is critical, as is the ability to clearly document actions taken
o Have problem management root cause analysis skills
o Perform insightful analysis of current state and recommend necessary improvements
Able to work as part of a global IT team
Demonstrated ability to build trust and relationships with business users and other global colleagues
Confident and eagerness to learn and grow, actively seeks feedbacks to improve and to voice out opinions or queries.
A dynamic individual with an outgoing personality and always keen to develop own self through learning and coaching
Team-oriented Individual that can be assigned to work independently
• Soft Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
Strong communicator in English with ability to maintain open communication with different user groups and customers
Able to integrate and apply feedback in a professional manner
