Dell Americas (North America / LatAm Regions) Distribution Acceleration: Sales Support Sr. Consultant in Round Rock, Texas

Drives change management to facilitate the acceleration of the distribution business in the America’s region. Identifies opportunities, potential process changes, and gaps between Dell practice and industry standard. Conducts periodic reviews to ensure Partner Program Incentives are accurate and on track, conducting post-project reviews for future improvement as required. Coordinates cross-functional teams and stakeholders including Sales, Sales Ops, Global Programs, Finance, legal, etc. Coordinates pan-Dell EMC activities to support Regional business requirements and manages projects, typically from initiation through delivery. Provides global/business unit/region support to assist in the development, implementation, and day-to-day oversight of America’s Distribution governance related activities by providing strategic transformation expertise through the deployment of Business Process Improvement Systems, related tools and thought processes. Drives Distribution governance infrastructure, tools, policies, training, and communications in regards to contractual and business rule compliance of Dell Distribution Partners.

Acts as the key subject matter expert regarding business process improvement initiatives. Presents recommendations and progress reports to senior and executive leadership. Provides mentoring, coaching and project management leadership to team members within a global structure, business unit or functional level. Responsible for creating an environment and assisting leadership and customers in the timely and successful completion of cost effective, strategic project and business improvement opportunities. Serves as project consultants, guide and leader while implementing and accelerating constructive long-term change

Distribution Business Acceleration Responsibilities

  • Identify strategic key initiatives & opportunities, and drive change management to enable & accelerate the growth of distribution

  • Align cross-functionally with work streams to ensure long-term channel requirements are developed and sustained

  • Coordinates pan-Dell , across functions, and cross region activities to support business requirements

  • Conduct business reviews to ensure projects are on track, including post-project reviews.

Distribution Governance / Compliance Responsibilities

  • Aligns to and enhances distribution governance infrastructure, tools , policies, training & communications required to govern the business

  • Develop global standards and definitions

  • Work with internal Dell teams (legal, compliance, ops, sales) to drive consistency & adherence to contractual and business requirements

  • Provides direct global, BU and region support to assist in the development, implementation, and day-to-day oversight of governance related activities with our distribution partners
