Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician I – Dispensing, you will be responsible for all aspects of the filling of mail order prescriptions. The Pharmacy Technician is essential to ensuring medication has been filled correctly so it can positively impact the lives of others. The Pharmacy Technician position is responsible for manually filling, canister filling and channel filling with the automated machines. As a back end Pharmacy Technician, you get work directly with the medication and the filing of automated machines. Exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician in the pharmacy to excel in a complex, high impact dispensing role.

As part of the Back-End Pharmacy Technician team, you willplay a crucial role in helping others on the path to better health and yourwork will be directly affect the lives of others.

  • Good writtenand verbal communication skills for interacting with all levels of staff

  • Able to lift 25pounds

  • Able to use a10 key pad

  • Stand for thelength of your shift

Required Qualifications

Current Illinois Pharmacy Technician License by time of hire

Preferred Qualifications

Formal Pharmacy Technician training.

Pharmacy Technician experience.


High school and/or GED required.
