Financial Analyst, NA Rare Disease Finance

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead monthly closing activities including key accruals, account reconciliations, headcount reporting and license agreement accounting

  • Lead headcount workstream. Provide monthly commentary to explain variances between actual results and budget / forecasts. Present monthly results to Head of Finance and local function heads and department leads as needed.

  • Provide business partner support for select sales and marketing departments

  • Support internal and external audit requests

  • Deliver actual vs budget/forecast reporting for department heads and line managers

  • Assist with preparation of budgets and forecasts

  • Provide financial support for analyses and other business cases as needed.

  • Educate client groups on financial policies and processes to ensure full compliance.

  • Ensure compliance of all internal control processes.

  • Utilize continuous improvement in daily activities to identify process simplification opportunities and enhance tools improvements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting from an accredited four-year college or university

  • 3-5 years of Accounting / Finance experience, including public accounting and / or forecasting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Business partnering experience

  • SAP, TM1 and HFM experience
