We have a fantastic opportunity for a Manufacturing Test Engineer to join our Xtralis team.
The Manufacturing Test Engineer provides effective production engineering support at Xtralis and key suppliers (where turnkey products are assembled and tested). The role supports all New Product Introduction activities and ensures test processes and platforms are provided. You will perform analysis of performance trends of calibration of fire products via the manufacturing databases results and conduct regular reviews and continuous improvement activities whilst managing and maintaining production processes and procedures.

To succeed in this key role, you will be a tertiary qualified engineer(Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics) and you should hold internal audit qualifications and experience.Your experience will be in high-tech manufacturing ideally in regulated/ quality focussed environments. Your knowledge and experience will include;problem investigation and root cause analysis; experience in using test instruments and debugging tools; reliability testing and investigation; MRP/ERP understanding in a Manufacturing facility; MIS / PRONTO awareness; Fire & Security Product Knowledge; Test / Production Engineering practices and Methodology. You will be an expert at using tools like Excel to slice/dice/analyse data to generate easy to understand information; you will be able to identify and implement improvement actions and you will ideally be proficient in LabVIEW software tool.
