Job Description

Role Summary

To provide superior customer service and problem resolution for our premium customers/travellers in all areas covered by the Premium Services department, such as the Admirals Club, Check-in, Arrivals and Gate.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Provides superior customer service to our business class passengers and corporate accounts’ travellers to ensure return business for AA

  • Identifies and takes care of our ConciergeKey passengers, and our most loyal AAdvantage frequent flyers - such as Executive Platinum, Platinum Pro, Platinum and AAdvantage Gold members

  • Responds positively and acts quickly to resolve problems such as misconnecting, ConciergeKey

  • Liaises regularly with our Sales offices to coordinate upgrade requests

  • Works in all areas of Premium Customer Services, including the Admirals Club, Check-in, Arrivals, Gate.

  • Recognises potential new business involving corporate, government and entertainment industries

  • Sells and promotes AA services and products to club/lounge members and their guests, including one day passes for Admirals Club

  • Facilitates flight, car and hotel reservation requests

  • Reissues boarding-passes and provides flight and fares information

  • Achieves Admirals Club membership sales goals

  • Assists AA senior management as requested

  • Provides assistance with operational functions in all areas of Premium Services and works closely with Customer Services, Sales and Marketing

Person Specification


  • Prior customer service experience is essential

  • Strong working knowledge of SABRE/QIK is required

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to adopt a Sales and solution orientated approach

  • Ability to resolve conflicts within time constraints

  • Strong organisational and judgement skills required

  • Ability to handle stress effectively

  • Enjoys face to face contact with our customers and be representative of the company at all times

  • Excellent grooming and smart appearance

  • Adaptable to change

  • Prepared to cover off schedule operations

  • Enjoys promoting and selling a product/services

  • This position can involve a lot of walking

  • A willingness to work in a shift environment (including weekends, bank and public holidays)

  • Ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English and French


Prior airport experience would be an advantage
