JPMorgan Chase CIB-Treasury Services Escrow-Senior Product Specialist, VP/ED in Houston, Texas
Advise Escrow Services Global Middle Office Staff on negotiated terms of all non-standard service agreements and documentation, compliance, reputational, operational and legal risk management issues. As subject-matter expert for Escrow Services Global Middle Office, evaluate and provide creative solutions for non-standard client requests globally and Escrow Service’s ability to deliver contracted operational obligations, responsibilities and/or legally imposed duties. Assist in evaluation and development of new product offerings for Escrow Services globally. Serve as primary liaison for Escrow Services Middle Office and our partners in Legal, as well as Compliance and Risk Departments. Develop and implement training for Escrow Services Middle Office employees regarding utilization of standard documentation, implementation of standard processes and negotiation strategies among regional offices, and ensure compliance with firm policies and development through monthly Q/A legal review. Periodic drafting and review of operating procedures for Escrow Services Global Middle Office. Manage assigned projects related to remediation of portions of existing portfolio and creation and implementation of taxonomy and related document identification, management and retention policies for Escrow Services.
Law School degree (JD)
Attorney's legal licensing must be in compliance with the regulations of the local jurisdiction where the attorney will work.
A minimum of five years post-admission experience with a major law firm, financial institution or judicial clerkship.
Familiarity with banking law and a Uniform Commercial Code Articles 4 and 4A is desirable, but not required.
