Purpose: Perform technical, business and project management functions related to the qualification, initiation, administration, coordination and delivery of custom development projects. Technical Lead is part of an energetic team responsible to coordinate, configure, analyze data, test and train for the installation/implementation of new products for existing and new clients within Credit Union Division as assigned.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Previous experience managing large scope development projects in financial services industry

  • Product/Business analyst experience gathering/documenting client requirements and preparing SOWs

  • Software Development experience, especially in the area of C/C++, UNIX, and SQL and .Net

  • Analyze, develop, test, document and implement customized solutions based on client specific requirements for new and existing clients

  • Analyze data on format and content to assess current client business processes and requirements

  • Performing or monitoring varied validation and/or troubleshooting efforts between infrastructure engineering, coding, data validation, testing

  • Interact with internal company and external customer/third party resources to ensure quality, efficient on-time completion of project implementation

  • Communicate status of project with senior associates, managers and clients

  • Provide input to improve implementation checklist, process and procedures.

  • To ensure the intended use of the product or service and realization of benefits expected

Job Related Experience:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of financial industry experience is highly preferred.

  • Knowledge of the Spectrum account processing platform is desired.

  • Must have experience with programming and scripting language tools, C/C++, SQL, C# and .Net

  • Experience working with Java is desired.

  • Must have experience working with relational databases, DB2, Oracle, Sybase or MSSQL

  • Experience with database reporting tools preferred.

  • 3+ years of project management experience or training is preferred.

  • Has proven skills in organizing and managing tasks and projects

  • Exhibits leadership skills and a professional appearance and demeanor that generates confidence in customers

  • Ability to communicate issues and work in a team oriented environment toward their resolution is critical to the success of this position.

  • Experience with contracts and contractual language is desired

  • Ability to operate independently with minimal guidance by management

Additional Skills/Knowledge:

  • Works independently and assists other associates to drive quality and staff development.

  • Microsoft Office such as Outlook, Excel, Word and SharePoint experience is required.

  • Strong presentation, organizational, verbal and written communication skills are required.

  • Must be able work in a high-pressure environment and transition efficiently from project to project and multi-task effectively.

  • Must be able to effectively and clearly communicate and interact with clients, associates and management.

  • Maintains calm and communication clarity under stress and while executing simultaneous, unrelated activities

  • Able to stay current on Company products, policies, procedures and system enhancements

  • Must be able to make decisions and solve problems that are general in nature and for which there are precedents

Education: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university. Area of specialization Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience
